HM Design provided full services for this unique 9,000 square feet House (for two brothers and their families), whereby an existing house was given a total make-over and an addition was designed that was larger than the existing house. The outside walls were clad with local machine-cut stone and brick. So as not to cut any existing trees, the addition was sensitively located between two mature “bombax” trees (Bombax ceiba). During construction, the foundation layout was changed to ensure that no roots were disturbed. HM Design also designed the garden and interior architecture.
