Mr. Mehta was the Project Architect for a 4 acre housing complex. Mr. Mehta surveyed and analyzed the site and helped design the master site plan with special emphasis on the preservation of existing trees and shrubs. This project provided luxurious town houses in 1989 (a first in Kenya) with common landscape amenities found in very few housing projects in Kenya. The main landscape feature was a central Swimming Pool, BBQ/Games Pavilion and a lawn that is easily accessible to all residents of the 10 units. This project was timely in that the growing needs and demands for such high-quality landscape elements had not been catered for previously in Nairobi.
