Hitesh Mehta led a team that prepared a conceptual master plan of an ecolodge for the Native American Tribe of Couer d’Alene (also known as Schitsu’umsh). Hitesh helped the client build a multi-disciplinary consultant team which included architects, planners, landscape architects, conservation biologists, ecologists, archaeologists, community-based ecotourism specialists and environmental engineers. Hitesh’s EDSA team prepared a master plan for an ecolodge, wellness center, cultural village, museum, community-based activities and products, visitor center, trails, kayaking, horse riding, canoeing etc. Hitesh was also the concept Architect for the project. Coeur d’Alene was designed to be the first ecopark in a Native American reservation in North America.
