The lodge is located on the eastern side of Atauro Island, Timor Leste. Situated 4 kms north of the main town Beloi, the site has a beach and easy access to the coral reef.

HM Design consulted on the site selection, site planning and prepared a Conceptual Master Plan of a high-end, 21- villa ecolodge on a ten-acre property owned by 19 local households representing 2 clans. This project was planned and designed with the participation of stakeholders and has received the approval from the land-owners, Village Chief and Pastor. This augurs well for the success and sustainability of this luxury lodge. The architectural forms of the villas has been Inspired by the local grain storage structures called “Manleka Rare”. The Conceptual Master Plan which considered the total build-out on the whole property, included luxury villas, wellness center, main building and infinity swimming pool, dive and snorkeling center, amphitheater, organic vegetables and fruit garden, back of house, walking trails, coconut palm and bamboo plantations etc.
