Wilpena Ecoresort is the only accommodation located within the Ikara Flinders Ranges National Park, 430km north of Adelaide, South Australia. The existing Resort lies adjacent to one of the most significant aboriginal landscapes (800 million years old) in Australia – Wilpena Pound.
HM Design was the landscape architect for the creation of an Overall Master Plan for an existing Resort and Camping area in one of the most significant aboriginal landscapes in Australia – Wilpena Sound. HM Design also prepared detailed site plans for unpowered and powered camping areas as well as the mid-end luxury tented camp. The master plan also included new arrival experience, visitor center, new eco- accommodations, existing resort, cooking stations, restrooms, play areas, staff housing etc. HM Design was the landscape architect for the creation of an Overall Master Plan for an existing Resort and Camping area in one of the most significant aboriginal landscapes in Australia – Wilpena Sound. The landscaping for the whole Lodge area is currently being installed.
